Working with more than one broker
3 min read
Owning ten properties across two brokers is normal. The account is built for it: assignment happens per policy and per property, not per user.
- 1
Assign a broker
Set the responsible broker on each policy or property. They're notified by email and linked to your account automatically.
- 2
Pick a default
Choosing a default broker filters your dashboard to their book so you're looking at the right slice.
- 3
Control the sharing scopes
For each property, toggle whether a broker can see policies, tenant certificates, inspections, incidents, and leases.
- 4
Share old policies
Use 'Share with broker' to send prior-term documents so a new broker can review what you actually had.

Annual inspections: build pre-loss evidence before you need it
Request a report from your roofer, store it on the property, and have dated proof of condition ready for an adjuster.
Leases: extract insurance requirements and check tenant COIs against them
Upload a lease, get the insurance obligations in plain English, and see which certificates fall short.
Tenant & vendor certificates: collect and track them without chasing email
Send self-upload links, watch expirations, and keep every certificate attached to the property.
