Quote comparisons: put renewal and new quotes side by side
5 min read
Comparing three quotes across twelve coverage lines by hand is where errors creep in. The comparison builder reads each quote and lines the numbers up.
- 1
Brokers: create a comparison
From the broker dashboard, start a comparison, name it, and attach it to the client (and property, for commercial risks).
- 2
Upload every quote
Add the expiring policy plus each competing quote. Each one shows queued, analyzing, then ready as extraction runs.
- 3
Review the grid
Coverages become rows, quotes become columns. You get an AI summary of the material differences, and you can hide rows or reorder columns before sending.
- 4
Share with the client
Sharing sends a notification and puts the comparison directly in the client's account — no attachment to lose.
- 5
Clients: ask for one
If you don't have a comparison yet, the Comparisons tab has a 'Request from my broker' action that sends the ask for you.
Good to know
- • The AI reads the documents you upload; the broker's judgment on which option fits is still the broker's, and it should be.
